Atlanta Soto Zen Center was founded by Zenkai Taiun Michael Elliston Roshi in 1971.  This urban temple, centrally located near Emory University in mid-town, is the first and largest Zen Center in the Southeastern U.S. It is open to everyone who wants to realize their inherent goodness through Zen Buddhist practice.  Come see the temple and peaceful zendo, meet its members, and share the spirit and creativity of local artists and artisans. Please visit aszc.org for more information and practice schedule (new members always welcome).
